I'm somewhat new to electronics, I've built the blue overdrive and kuzco jr pedals(I love them both!) And I have the crown jewel that I'll be starting soon.

My question is, can you tell me about the grounding on these PCBs? From my reading, it sounds like the common approach is to have copper pools, but sometimes there is a dedicated layer of the pcb, but not always. Looking at the boards, they seem to have at least two layers, but what else is there to know? Is there a common pattern for all boards in this regard, or does it vary?

Hope that question makes sense.
Josh

Are you asking about BYOC PCB's in particular or DIY pedal PCB's in general?

Mostly BYOB, that's what I am working with. Though I'm also curious about how to go about grounding cirxuits if I were to build using a basic breadboard or one of these prototype boards.. but I don't want the scope of this thread to blow up too much Image
