Hi there, wondering if any Crown Jewel users out there can help me.

Are the boost and dirt modules 'flat' EQ wise? Or do they trim lows, highs or boost the mids? Are they transparent?

Thinking of the germanium treble booster, fuzz, other dirt and boost modules. I've heard a couple demos but the recording quality wasn't amazing. Wondering how well they tplay with a base clean tone, and if they affect the drive channel dirty tones.

Much appreciate your responses!

The germ boost (and all the boosts for that matter) and the fuzz module naturally don't have any "EQ". No passive low pass filter. Nothing. So I guess they are "flat". The modules like the soft clipper or the hard clipper take the drive sections of the tubescreamer and klon, respectively, and remove the EQ section. These sections are active EQs that can boost or cut a particular frequency. When you have the tone knob at noon, they are flat. So what you get with the modules would be the same as having a tubescreamer or klon with the tone knob at noon.
