So I’m thinking of building another Crown Jewel pedal but this time with the Dry Blend Board.

Does the Dry Blend Board allow you to retain the stock/original sound of the unit and boost if you have the Dry Blend board knob turned all the way down? Or maybe all the way up?

The dry blend only affects the drive side. The boost channel is independent of the drive channel and is not affected by the dry blend.

The dry blend adds a passive cross fader that blends unaffected dry signal with the distortion signal preEQ. This means that you can adjust the EQ of the dry signal as well.
