I'm going to build a fully loaded chorus and am concerned about sourcing the extra parts I need. The rotary switch and the spdt switches aren't a problem, its the dang caps.

Could someone tell me if my research, searching, & guessing is right?

1-33pf ceramic disc cap—mouser--75-564R30GAQ33

1-100pf ceramic disc cap—mouser--75-562R10TST10

1-180pf ceramic disc cap—mouser--140-50N5-181J-TB-RC

1-330 pf ceramic disc cap—mouser--75-562R5GAT33

I made the numbers (33pf etc) match and kinda guessed on the rest. Really Really clueless. I studied this stuff when i was an engineering major but ultimately changed my major before I flunked out. And that was a few years ago...

Thanks!!!

I recommend using silver mica caps instead of the ceramic disc type caps. I always use them in place or ceramic disc types for any audio circuits.

Can you subsitute a 500pf Silver Mica for the 560pf ceramic that is required for the Large Beaver? I can't find a 560pf ceramic or Silver Mica at Small Bear. Same with the .050uf poly film cap, can I subsitute a .056 instead or would it be better to go with a .047? That's all they carry and I was hoping to save some shipping costs by ordering everything from there.

.047 is a good substitute for .05

Some older Big Muff schematics show the 560p as a 500p, no harm there either. I think the 560p value came from an actual Big Muff that was taken apart.
