Hey guys,

I'm building a Mimosa Jr - the parts checklist calls for 25 resistors (including 6 10k resistors), while the schematic only has 24 resistors. I received 24 resistors, including 6 10k resistors, although the schematic only calls for 5 of them; however, I'm missing a 22k resistor.

So there's a few possibilities:
1. One of the 22k resistors in the schematic can be replaced by a 10k resistor (I haven't seen any mention of this in the forums)
2. I received an extra 10k resistor and am missing one 22k resistor (I've rechecked several times, definitely have 6 10k resistors and am missing the 22k)

Attaching a hi-res photo of all of the resistors I received to ensure I'm not crazy. I'm a bit colorblind, so I've tested each one to confirm no errors. (and yes, I've torn up the area around my workdesk to ensure nothing has dropped) https://goo.gl/photos/hwgBAAaFRQgrv7mt5

Cheers

If you have more resistors than places on the PCB you were sent too many resistors. If you have fewer resistors than places on the PCB you were shorted and need to contact BYOC to let them know.

+1. A good rule of thumb is to believe the PCB labeling when it conflicts with other kit info UNLESS the instructions specifically mention a PCB labeling error.

Thanks guys, looks like I'm missing that 22k resistor. I'll pick one up locally - they're .25 watt, right?

The Lil line of BYOC pedals use 1/8 watt resistors.

...but a 1/4W will work fine--you'll just need to bend the leads to fit the shorter slot on the PCB or stand it on end.
