I probably should have ask before pulling the trigger on this slight mod (purely for aesthetics), but will there be any issues using this style jack instead of the supplied ones?

No problem as long as everything fits and nothing is shorting against something it shouldn't.

Thanks Bob! I had to "nudge" a couple of capacitors from touching but other than that everything fit. Going to plug it in and see if all the smoke stays inside. :mrgreen:
