Here are a couple of audio demos I've done.

Demo 1 - the first part has a 10 uF cap, the second part uses the stock cap:

Demo 2 - shows the pedal with a stock cap but a 100K Attack pot (my current and preferred configuration):

I hope these give you a good idea of what the pedal can do!

Mike

I've done my own version using .47uf, 1.5uf, an 10uf. I combined it with what is basically the old BYOC digital delay and opticomp. There are significant modifications, but the idea & the effect on the signal are very, very similar. I've graduated from the school of BYOC, and I can now design my own boards. That's why the layout is so different. I just wanted to add some more sound clips to encourage people to try the Lazy Sprocket. I love to play with the effect, and even though it is a "one-trick pony", I find it can be used to create a wide array of sonic landscapes.

Here are the three videos I have up now. I used to have seven videos of different evolutions of my design...but I think three is plenty! The third video is just the Lazy Sprocket with a clean boost. The current version I produce commercial is called the Bumblebee (http://www.vfepedals.com), which includes both an optical compressor & blend control. Thanks.

It's GREAT to have all of that in one pedal! I have it as a pedal board :) I second the sentiment about the LS - it's a great effect and can be a wonderful part of anybody's sound. It's a pretty easy build, too. Go make one!

Thanks for posting the audio clips. Will have to check out VonRutter's videos at home after work.

Will be trolling the LS forum for tips on mods and will socket the different parts. So far, I know I plan on socketing the B25K pot, the 5457 tranny, and the .68 tantalum cap.

Once I've experimented with a fairly stock build, I may put the caps on a switch and move the internal trimmer to an external pot, based on some things I've already come across in here.

Slight case of thread-romancy but here goes :)

like the sounds in the 2nd clip of OP
looking for something that will give me the both a 'strings" sound or a organ-like effect. i'm guessing this is going to involve modeto both the sustain levels and the attack speeds.

from what i've heard looks like SG/LS will do what i want with some mods.
