Hi all, this is my first build, I haven't soldered before, was going to complete the confidence booster first but the PCB didn't turn up with the rest of the kit so decided to go ahead with the envelope filter. It was working at first on both envelope and fixed modes but now I get no sound at all. LED is on when footswitch is pressed, but no noise through to my amp. Loved the whole build experience, I'm sure it won't be my last build but frustrating that I can't get this to work, does anyone have any tips on what I can check on the circuit please?

I've added a few photos, someone may see something I've done wrong. I've checked that the lead stubbs below the attack and sensitivity pots are not shorting on the pots, one was touching , have fixed that.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions, I can post more photos of the other side of the board if needed.

Many of your solder joints look starved (too little solder used). The 4558 op-amp is a good example of this. I would suggest going back over your work and resoldering the starved joints. Be sure to cut off the excess lead right at the top of the solder joint. Do not leave little pigtails sticking thru them. Especially any that might be under the pots. These are short circuit ricks.

Thanks Stephen, I really appreciate the advice, I'll go back over them all tonight.

Hi Stephen, thanks so much for the advice, been over all the joints tonight and now it's working. Much appreciated. Think I'm going to get addicted to this
