Hi,

I just finished my Envelope Filter/Fixed Wah over the weekend, and I have nearly no sound on the Fixed Wah setting. I can hear an incredibly faint guitar sound, but there's no discernible effect. It's similar to if you had a guitar volume pot that was a little scratchy and wouldn't kill your sound all the way when dialed down.

The envelope filter setting seems fine; if I dial down the sensitivity it cuts off at a certain point, but I think that's correct. Attack and Range behave as expected. Both battery and DC jack work for power and the TRS jack disables the pedal when unplugged. Bypass footswitch works.

Thanks for any help!

I'd start by reflowing the solder joints to the toggle switch and manual pot.

Reflowing the switch and manual fixed it!

Just to confirm, is the correct behavior when the sensitivity is dialed back to eventually cut off the signal entirely, or should that result in a clean signal without any filter when you're below the threshold?

Yes, that's normal. The envelope circuit sensitivity gets so low that no signal gets through at all.

Excellent, that's what I thought, but once I started messing up solder joints, I wondered...
