Hi all,
I am building the MOSFET boost kit and a little too much enthusiasm and too little lighting helped me to screw up right away. I put the 5k6 resistor in the 4k7 spot and the 4k7 in the 470k spot. Did I just royally screw up?

Not at all. It's fairly easy to swap out components. if you have a solder sucker or braid then it's even easier
other wise I have reheated the solder and just pulled one side out at a time being careful not to overheat and pull up the trace

Whewww, thanks. That was my first inclination but I wanted to check first.

Desoldering iron if you have an electronics store nearby. Huge help.

I am definitely going to have to pick one of those up.

Nah, you and only ROYALLY screw up around here if you mess up the Phase Royal or the Tweed Royal. Otherwise it's just the routine screwup.

Welcome to the club!

Pedal is built and on my board! I am using it for bass as a slight overdrive and it seems to be working good. Drive all the way up and volume set to unity gain. I love it! Thanks for all the help! Now I'm building the lil modified OD and I have definitely taken what I learned through the boost and this one is going a lot smoother.
