 Post subject: Germanium Boost Problem

Hey guys, this is my first time posting here and I just started building pedal kits. I've had some experience with soldering, but wanted to have an easy kit to get started with. I followed the instructions closely and checked everything over multiple times, but I'm having issues getting it to work. More specifically, the bypass works, but when I hit the switch there is no LED light and some sound but barely any. Here are some pictures I took: http://imgur.com/a/qvbsi. I have a multimeter, if anybody can help me get started on fixing this or has any idea what's wrong I'd greatly appreciate it.

We’re gonna need to see photos in much better focus than these. Blurry pix are of no use for troubleshooting.

BTW, did you try dialing in the fuzz with the trimpot? I can see in the photo that the pot looks to be set way over at one end of its sweep arc.
