Everything seems to be wired exactly the way the diagrams show and I've triple checked everything but when i plug it in and hit the switch it only turns on bypass and the LED doesn't light up. When i turn it off everything is silent.

Bypass working, but no led and no effect when engaged smells like power wiring issues. Double-check your wiring from the DC jack to the board first, check your ground points, then pics would be helpful.

I can’t tell if bypass works or not. You start by saying “it only turns on bypass” and then you go on to say “When I turn it off everything is silent”. Which is it? When the pedal is OFF it is in bypass mode. If the LED does NOT light up and the pedal is quiet when you turn it ON I would have to agree with Michael above that you may have an issue with your power wiring.

Yeah sorry to be confusing I'm extremely new to these and bad at explaining with terminology. I'll check power wireing and let you guys know! Thank you for your quick responses!

We need to see the solder joints so you’re gonna have to pull the PCB from the enclosure. You also need to cut off all those little pigtails of component lead that you left sticking thru the solder joints. These are all short circuit risks. The leads should be cut off at the top of the solder joint with none of the lead protruding thru.

Before you do that though do you have a DMM (Digital Multi Meter) and know how to use it? If so connect power to the pedal and take voltage measurements from both IC1 & 2. Here are the voltages from mine…

Power Supply = 9.47

IC1
1) 4.75
2) 4.75
3) 3.57
4) -9.13
5) 4.74
6) 4.75
7) 4.75
8) 17.35

IC2
1) 9.47
2) 4.91
3) 0
4) - 4.4
5) - 9.13
6) 4.6
7) 6.08
8) 9.47
