Hi all,

I have just finished my Triboost, and it works great, apart from the Germanium mode
which is slightly lower volume but noisy as hell.
I can hear the difference between the 3 modes (trebble, mid, full), but the noise makes it
totally useless.
I have also tried it with a battery with the exact same result.

And as far as i can tell, the transistor i places correctly according to the manual.

Any tips?

can't say this will fix it but the easiest thing to get rid of noise is to make sure your wires are as short as possible and or twist them. i built a pedal fired it up and it squealed like a pig so i just spun the volume pot making it wires twist around each other and the squeal disappeared. if that doesn't work i'd post some pictures.

It could also be a bummer transistor. You'd need to swap it out, to check.

I changed the transistor to a AC125, and now it works.
