Hi! Pedal build went great and worked on the first try (out of the enclosure). As soon as I put it in the enclosure, the pots are intermittent and only work sometimes. Is there a *duh moment here that I'm not seeing?

Thanks!

Best,
Dan

I went back through and shortened the wires to 1.5" and still the same issues when put back in the enclosure....

I seems like a contact short, but I can't tell where.

Is there a way to insulate the pots from contact?

Thoughts?

Thanks!

I would try wrapping the soldered lugs of the pots with some electrical tape, and also put some tape on the back of the two pots. They should be far enough away from the PCB to prevent contact, but hey, it can't hurt.

Also, trim any excess wire ends at the solder joints on the I/O jack lugs and make sure that they aren't contacting anything inside the enclosure.

Thanks! I think that did the trick. I think the pots lugs were contacting the enclosure at somepoint - so the tape worked.

Thanks!
