Good evening everyone,
I put together a crown jewel 6 month or so ago, and could not get it to work. I trouble shot for a few hours and didn’t make any progress so it went on the shelf to solve more important issues. I had some time this week and picked it back up. The pedal bypasses just fine. But when engaged (either side) it makes a hum with no signal coming through. The hum can be adjusted with all the controls. I reflowed all my joints last night. To do so I removed the pots. You will notice I broke a trace on the mid freq pot. I did repair this with a small piece of wire. I took some pics with pots off and after I reinstalled them.
I come asking for suggestions. This ole country boy has ran out of ideas.

None of your photos are showing up on my end. Do you have them hosted offsite somewhere, or are you trying to use the board's attachment feature? If the former, you can post a link to the files. It's easier if they're embedded, of course, but that would still work.

I am trying to host them through google photos. This is the first time for me. Below are links. I will try embedding them again later. Maybe through a different host site.

Why did you remove most of the pots?

I took them out to add some more solder to the joints under them. The pictures at the top are where I reattached the pots.

The quality of your build is not very good. Your wiring looks very suspect. I would suggest to you to take this in sections. Don't worry about getting the whole pedal to work. Just focus on one part at a time. I'd probably start with just the boost section. Don't use a module. Place a jumper between the in and out socket holes. What happens when you do this?

I get a clean signal through on and off with the boost section.
Thanks for your help.
