File comment: bottom of pods and top of secondary pcb should this be making connection or not?

I have made few mistakes on the way of building and damaged the board. I traced the line and connected the line where I think supposed to be connected.

I am amateur reading the diagram and trying to understand how to test and trouble shoot. In the past I have build many pedal from this cite and I was successful so I though this one is easy to build but I need help.

Two obvious mistakes I have made.

2 places I have made mistakes and attempted to jump by wiring are

1. B 100 KDG Gain A 1 on main board (jumped to connect with resistor 152 (1K5 ohm) on the main board).

2. Jumped resistor 473 (47K) and negative of 1 uf aluminum electrolytic.

Another question is when I installed secondary PCB I wonder whether the bottom of two B10K potentialtiometers touches the top of the secondary PCB to make connection by design?

Initially I put plastic tape in order to avoid any shorts then I got no sound.
When I took of the plastic tape and made intentional connection there, I got some noise which changes when I turn volume, treble and Gain nob. I am guessing that part should be connected by the design since I got some sound there.

I could be wrong about this.

I hope to be able to use this pedal for my upcoming gig on next Saturday,

Appreciate very much for help.

Thanks
Keita

I forgot to mention few things on my post.

the bypass mood is working

led comes on when activated but no sound or noise

when I measured the voltage, it somewhat inconsistent.

positive measurement was inconsistent so something on the board is easer has a shorts somewhere or could be grounding issues.

I have attempted to re-solder some of the points where seemed not well done but not still not successful.

I am getting very quiet sound with gain, treble and volume fully up. I have taped the top of the secondary pcb so it would not be connecting with two pods. Then I got the sound.

My guess is some signals are lost from three volume pods.

Please post voltage readings for the TL072 op amps.

Thank you so much for posting. I was almost giving up on this pedal. This was my first unsuccessful pedal in the last 10 years of the building from this company abut 8 total pedals. I appreciate it very much for your help.

One more possible abnormality of this pedal is that the switch is on without inserting input jack, but some pedals are build this way (my octave pedal turns on without input jack) so I was unsure whether I have made errors elsewhere.

The first TL 072CP located on the Top of board readings are,
1.0
2.0
3.0
4.-8.17
5.0
6.0
7.0
8.8.91

The second IC located on the middle of the board readings are
1.0
2.0
3.0
4. -8.18
5. 0
6. 0
7. -0.04
8. 8.91

Your voltages look perfect.

It is normal for the power to be on even if you do not have a plug in the input jack. Since this pedal does not use a battery, there is no need for an on/off input jack.

Your soldering and wiring do not look very good. I would assume that is the cause of your problem. You said the sound is very faint. Can you hear if the gain and treble knobs work correctly?

You may find this process useful, as it often solves problems like what you've described: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=52188

When I tried again after reading your post, I have heard the increase on the volume, but tone I was unsure whether it was making difference since the sounds are very soft.

When I turned all of three nobs up 100%, I can hear distortion sounds in soft volume with my polytone amp in full volume.

In attempt to re-solder all the connection on the board, I have broke the one volume pot since the wire was pulling.

I will let you know how its goes once the replacement part comes in.

Thank you.

I have done reflowing and hoping that would solve the problem , here is the picture of after reflow.
It does not looks very different from how it was before but hopefully some improvement is there.

Thanks
