Hi all,
I recently tried to build the classic fuzz as my first pedal. As of now, the bypass works when it is off and the LED turns on when the pedal is pressed but no sound is outputted. Any ideas? I'm not really sure what to do and am running in circles. Any help is appreciated! I have an image of the board uploaded on a reddit post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/diypedals/comm ... l_the_led/

From the photos, I'd say that the soldering is your issue. Please reflow the entire board and post updated photos. The solder should flow from the back to front and have the appearance of a Hershey-Kiss rather than a dome.

Here's some detailed guidance on the reflow process: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=52188

I resoldered and theres sound! It's really quiet though so think I probably just missed a joint, I'll try soldering them all again.
