Built the SP2 last night. Sounds great and I really like the flexibility added by the stand-alone clean boost. At first, I was a little concerned that the clipping toggle wasn't working correctly, but that turned out to be merely a matter of not having the gain up far enough. I think it must be because the gain control is actually a blend of the clean and overdriven signals, so you need to have the gain up far enough so that the differences in volume, compression and tonal character between the three different clipping modes become readily apparent.

In any case, another very nifty pedal. Keith is definitely on a roll lately.... 8) :mrgreen:

Exactly. That's going to be the case with any pedal with clipping devices such as this - the less gain you have, i.e., the less the pedal is clipping, the less you will be able to hear any difference between the various clipping devices. It's even more so with the klon circuit, or OD-820, or anything that has a dry blend.
