With all of the plagiarism, which is more than obviously real, I'm still trying to figure out why they properly credited Memphis Minnie for "When The Levee Breaks". My 30+ year-old vinyl copy of Led Zeppelin IV has her properly credited as the acutal writer of this song. Hmmmmmm???

I'm still shaken from this whole thing. Zep has been a part of my whole life and, well, this is just not something I expected. Anyway just wanted to give props for mentioning 'Achilles Last Stand' - one of my more favorite Zep tunes and I've never heard anyone mention it before. too long for radio which is why I suppose, as well as it being on a later less popular album...

Its one of my favourite songs too! Very underrated.

I have been trying to figure out how to play it for some time now and its a tricky number.

Yes it's very tricky. Even trickier is getting a whole band playing the damn thing together tight - LOL.

Funny. I grew up being fed New Wave by my older brother. I never got into the classics until my 20's and now 30's. I like a lot of Led Zep now but not all. I still don't get the screechy singing and strange stage behavior. Can't deny Page's studio genius and chops. Anybody check out the North Mississippi Allstars? Kind of CCR style but not ripped off.

wow....not sure what to make of it....always was and am a Zep fan........just saw a bootleg of the O2 show from Dec. and Robert does give credit to Robert Johnson's Terraplane Blues. He calls Trampled Under Foot Led Zeppelin's version of Terraplane Blues just before they play it..........
