Here are some pics of my triple boost. It was a tricky build. nothing fancy about the finish.



Here are the long awaited clips. they're not very good but they give you the idea. Ibanez S470 through Marshall JCM2000 DSL50 and a 1960A cab. Sure SM57 mic and a Tascam US122 USB interface. I got a rack mount digital EQ in the loop. These recordings were at bedroom level so you can't really hear how this pedal grinds a tube amp. You can hear a little grind and a volume increase.

quite amazing. one thing though... you don't have a clip for the germ boost in full range boost mode. but it's nice. i'm getting one.

Germ in full sounds way better than in trebele mode. The toggle only works in germ mode.

Gilmour Style Clip

I found the backing track on the net. I rocorded the guitar at bedroom level. Heres the setup...

I'm using a Marshall DSL50 with a 1960A 4x12 slant cab. The amp is on the dirty channel with the gain around 7. I have a rack mount digital programmable EQ in the loop with a midiverb4 adding some plate reverb. I am using the clean setting on the tri boost. Guitar is an Ibanez S470, bypassed tone pot on bridge pickup. Mic is an SM57 into a Tascam US122 USB interface. I only did one take so its kinda sloppy but sounds pretty good. It gets over loaded in 2 places but the rest of the recording sounds ok. Adds nice harmonics and sustain.

If you don't like the treb mod, you should maybe try a cap that would give you a mid boost. Try a .022 - .01uf cap.

After listening to that last Gilmour style clip I might try the Hi switch with the dirty channel on my amp. I really should wait untill I get a chance to open up the amp.

my tribooster should be here friday. gunna spend saturday putting it together and painting. i'll call it The Ego Booster.

which cap would i switch out to put in that mid boost, should i not like it?

Swap out the .005uf input cap for a .01uf for more mids. I use a rotary switch that allows me to switch bewteen 5 different cap values. The .01uf and .015uf are my favorite settings.
