I have been knocking around an idea for this for a few years now. Started as a nostalgic thing with my old Ibanez UE400 box and has moved from the daydreaming phase to actual build planning and supply shopping.

This will be a modulating effect unit for my bass rig. Filled with lots of wibbly wobbly timey wimey type stuff so naturally it will be dubbed the T.A.R.D.I.S..

I have 5 circuits planned plus an effects loop. I will be using the UE400s "insta-patch" style rotary switching to be able to adjust the effect order as well as the footswitch. What I loved about the ue400 was it was simple to set up and pack away. Just one cord and a footswitch. Not a hundred patch cables and pedals or a large pedal board to mess with. Plug in and done. So that is what I am shooting for. If this goes well I will be doing a second with various fuzzes, ods and other noise makers to go along with this.

So the linenup as it stands is as such:
Compressor: keeley 4 knob

Flanger: Madbean Current Lover

Chorus/Vibe:. Boss CE2 with vibe switch mod (possibly with the stereo option as well)

Delay: Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay

Envelope Filter: Still deciding on this one. It will either be a Seamoon Funk Machine or the SWAW. I will need to order a chip for the swaw if I go with that but it is in the lead so far.

Plus an effects loop.

First step is to get the enclosure built so I can get the face scanned into photoshop and start laying out the knobs and such to be sure of the fit before I commit components to solder. 2U rack enclosures are spendy (av $60 +30 shipping) based on my searching so I will be fabricating my own. I have enough aluminum and steel to make 2 of these so here goes nothing!

Thoughts on the envelope filter circuits are highly encouraged. Needs to pair very well with the bass guitar.
