The C1 listed in the BOM is a 270pF cap (see attached). I have several 220pf tantalum's in my parts bin and was wondering if 50pF difference would cause any issues.

Are you sure it's a tantalum cap? I've never seen one with that low of a capacitance. Would expect it to be a ceramic or silver-mica with that low of a rating. I could believe 220n, but not 220p in a tant.

My mistake! It's a Monolithic cap. 200pF 50v.

I would try it there. I believe it's function is to filter out very high frequency noise at the input to the circuit, so I doubt that the value is that critical.

Thank you! From what I found researching it's function, I came up with the same conclusion, but was not clear as to how critical that specific value was.
