So I was wanting to vero board this get tester that measures Idss and vp.

I’ve done 2 rudimentary drawings (and my interpretation) of the circuit in both modes. Leaving out the switch because I can’t wrap my brain around it. Just got off a 16 shift.

I’m assuming these are not correct.

I have found 2 vero boards of this but one has and op amp and a elect cap. The other has a elect cap. With no updated schem or explanation of why they are included.

I just picked up one of these a few days ago (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WT ... UTF8&psc=1). From the few components I've tested, it is 'balls on' accurate. And for the extremely low price ($12.99 US) it is quite a deal! It will also do resistors, caps etc. A ton of youtube videos out there. Only thing I did was add a 9v jack and got rid of the battery snap. I didn't want to have to take it apart every time just to change the battery.

I have something similar. It will not read jfets correctly :/ for bjts and other components it’s spot on.

Thanks for the heads up on that! I have a batch of Jfets coming and will keep that in mind when I go to test them.
I may come back here and use your vero build to build one for myself!

I’m not sure my drawings are correct. I was hoping someone here could clarify them.
