I’m not sure who needs to see this, but I’ve been soldering for 40 yrs and still learned a couple things.

[EDIT - YouTube embedding seems to not be working, so link below]

Thank you for sharing. I don't know why, but I've always enjoyed those videos from the '50s, '60s, and 70's.

In the video at approximately 10:53, Harry prepares to solder using what the announcer calls, "... a pencil type eraser...". It looks like a pencil, has a brush on one end, but instead of lead, it appears that the pencil is full of eraser, and they sharpen it down like a standard pencil. Does anyone know what this tool is called, and where I could find one? Looks like a great idea of a tool to have.

I hadn't seen these before, but I took a guess as to what it might be called, and found this example: Faber-Castell Perfection 7058 B eraser pencil

I've had one of those for decades, but not sure why I still have it since I have not been a typewriter user in ... decades. Mine's an Eberhard Faber "Stenorace" 1907.

Thank you! I never knew an Eraser Pencil with Brush was a thing... Looks like they are used a lot in art. I'll see if I can find a local art supply store with them. Appreciate your assistance!

(Never in a million years did I think I'd do a google search for Eraser Pencil with Brush... I learned something new, time to go home... wait... I am home... well $#!%)
