My Flush stopped working on the right side again. I’ll open er up and reflow again but, on the off chance it might be the chip, are there others I could replace it with? I can’t source the original locally, but the local shop has some. I just don’t know enough to know which on to get.

Any suggestions?
Like a TE TL072 maybe?

A solder reflow is the best thing to try first, especially since it solved your problem with this pedal the last time.

If it comes to an IC switch, I came across this statement on the Aion site, which I would consider a very reliable source:

"Dual op-amp that lands somewhere between the JRC4558 and TL072 in performance. Most notably used in the Analogman King of Tone and Prince of Tone, but also used in the BOSS® DS-1 Distortion (2016-present) and the Suhr Riot. Near-exact equivalent of LM833N and NEC4570C."

But I would guess that the high performance TL072 would work, as well.

Literally, any DIP8 dual op am will work and you'll likely not hear the slightest difference.

Thank you both. I’ll definitely reflow first. Just thinking ahead to when I can get to fixing it. Using gesso on 3 enclosures right now, it’s not going well. Trying to use a cyanotype process to decorate. The chemicals didn’t adhere well to my matte white primer. Gesso is… a process but I think it should work.

Cheers!
