You should take everything out of the enclosure. Also, it's not going to work unless you have the footswitch connected.

It works!!!!

I just shortened all the wires to a much more reasonable length and now everything works perfectly. Must have been a short from one of those.

Wow - thank you to everyone who responded with help! ruling out the other things made me feel confident enough to just try this solution out.

Thanks - NYC circuit had to use pizza vibes. I clipped it from a local menu and used mod podge to glue and seal it. Pretty lofi but got the job done
